This page combines three types of NHTSA data: recall campaigns (official manufacturer or government actions), owner complaints (unverified consumer reports), and crash test ratings (where available). A vehicle with many complaints is not necessarily less reliable — complaint volume correlates with sales volume and vehicle age. Recalls indicate identified defects, not overall quality. To compare this model year with others, use the year navigation in the sidebar or return to the model overview page.

Low beam headlights randomly turn off while driving at night and day. Causing not to be able to see the roadway at all. Very dangerous!!! They give no warning at all. Only the low beams do this. Bright lights are not affected. There was a recall for this issue but they said my car was not affected. But it is 100% affected by this recall. Ot seems like the Headlamp driver module is overheating. It gets extremely hot. This issue almost caused a very serious accident .
Taken car to dealership for computer analysis and was told that the issue was caused by P0420cataylic converter needed to be replaced. I had cataylic converter replaced elsewhere and noticed that wasn't the problem. After doing some research I found that ignition switch is the reason my car stalls while driving. There was a Product Safety Recall (14299) Ignition key rotation and replaced on 10- 8-20 but I'm having the same problem.
the glass to the sunroof blew off while driving and broken into pieces. broken glass at risk. no, the problem has not been confirmed by dealer or service center. no inspections. no warning lamps messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. The sunroof glass just blew off the car while driving.

AT 3:30PM THE DRIVER APPLIED THE BRAKES IN A LINE OF CARS AT ABOUT 25 MPH. THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKES FAILED COMPLETELY. THE CAR THEN ACCELLERATED INDEPENDENTLY AND STRUCK ANOTHER CAR IN FRONT. ROAD WAS WET, SLIGHT GRADE. THE 2007 BUICK WAS A TOTAL LOSS.

POP AND CRACKLING ON STEERING WHEEL NOISE WHILE TURNING CORNERS WHILE DRIVING
FRONT STABILIZER BAR IS CRACKED ON BOTH SIDES WHERE THE BOLTS FROM THE LOWER CONTROL ARM GO THOUGH THE STABILISER BAR. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT, HAS 130,000 MILES, NEVER BEEN OFF ROAD. HAPPENED TO NOTICE IT WHILE REPLACING BRAKE PADS
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WON'T OPEN. PROBLEM STARTED WITH THE DOOR NOT LOCKING AFTER CLOSING IT. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS OF OPENING AND SHUTTING THE DOOR IT FINALLY LOCKED. ONCE LOCKED THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN BACK UP. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE 2007 YEAR MODELS HAVE DEFECTIVE DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY'S
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 BUICK LACROSSE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THERE WAS A CLUNKING NOISE IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN IT WAS TURNED LEFT OR RIGHT. IN ADDITION, THE ABS INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES AND, WHEN MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THE BRAKES SQUEALED. KEMPTHORN MAZDA IN CANTON, OHIO WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE ROTORS AND THE BRAKE PADS. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
CAR WAS DRIVING FINE AND TRANSMISSION WENT OUT WITH NO WARNING AT INTERSECTION AT STOP AND COULD NOT GO HAD TO PUSH VEH OUT OF ROADWAY
4T65E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. DEFECTIVE INTERNAL O-RING SEALS IN THE VALVE BODY CAUSE LOSS OF FLUID PRESSURE, LEADING TO SLIPPING AND PREMATURE WEAR.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED THE RED AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON AND WILL NOT GO OFF. OCCASIONALLY WHEN THERE IS A PASSENGER AND THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON THE RED AIRBAG LIGHT WILL GO OFF. IT IS MY CONCERN THAT THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY WHEN IT SHOULD OR IT WILL DEPLOY WHEN IT SHOULDN'T. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS. THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED AND THE AIRBAGS HAVE NEVER BEEN DEPLOYED. THIS ALL HAPPENS EITHER STATIONARY AND/OR IN MOTION.
AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN, SINCE APPEARANCE OF THIS LIGHT MAY INDICATE THAT AIRBAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF AN IMPACT. THE DEALERSHIP CHECKED THE CARE AND CLEARED THE CODE, AND ADVISED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS SHOULD THE LIGHT COME BACK ON. I HAVE CHECKED ONLINE AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A PERVASIVE ISSUE WITH THIS PARTICULAR MODEL YEAR AND EVEN YEARS FOLLOWING THIS. IN SOME CASES THERE HAVE BEEN RECALLS THAT INVOLVED SOFTWARE ISSUES. I SPOKE WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADVISED THAT THEY COULD CHANGE THE SENSORS, BUT THIS RUNS ABOUT $2500 AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY THAT IT WOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF THE INTERMITTENT APPEARANCE OF THE AIRBAG LIGHT. SHOULDN'T THIS INVOLVE AN OFFICIAL RECALL, SINCE IT IS SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS MODEL AND SHOULDN'T THE MANUFACTURER BE RESEARCHING A SOLUTION TO ENSURE DRIVER/PASSENGER SAFETY?
WHILE MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN I HEARD A POP NOISE SIMULTANEOUSLY VEHICLE DIPPED HARSHLY WITH THE HANDLING AND STEERING CONTROL COMPROMISED. AFTER INSPECTION THE FRACTURED AND BROKEN SWAY BAR WAS DISCOVERED. SWAY BAR ENDS CRACKED BOTH SIDES WITH RIGHT SIDE COMPLETELY SEVERED. CAR WAS USED IN NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS-MECHANIC SUGGESTED I REPORT THIS SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. *TR
