Sorry I speak Spanish Le cambiaron sensor bolsa de aire pero sigue teniendo lo el mismo problema y después de eso no se si le esta afectando porque ya no me sirve la alarma, el tablero en ocasiones se detiene o no prende nada, el stereo derrepente deja de oírse incluso lo de navegación yo regrese ese mismo día y reclame pero me dijo la señora de atención a clientes que con el tiempo se iba arreglar hasta que acepte el sensor y ya paso algo de tiempo y cada vez más ahí problemas si llega a explotar la bolsa de aire yo tengo el recibo por cualquier acción que tenga que hacer por si llega haber un accidente que dios no lo quiera espero respuesta de ustedes y por dentro por no hablar ingles

FIRE INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THE FIRE WAS ELECTRICAL AND PAID SUBSTANTIAL ATTENTION TO THE FRONT PASSENGERS SIDE DASH AREA ON BOTH THE INBOARD AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT SIDES OF THE DASH. THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH PAST REPORTS OF FIRES STARTING DUE TO THE HEATED WASHER FLUID SYSTEM WHICH THIS VEHICLE HAD. THERE WAS NO ACTIVE RECALLS ON THIS CAR.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 277,000.

WHILE WE ARE DRIVING ON A FREEWAY THE CAR SUDDENLY STOP AND WILL HAVE A "STABILITY LOSE CONTROL" MESSAGE ON A DASH BOARD. THE CAR WILL STOP MOMENTARILY AND THEN IT WILL RUN AGAIN AFTER WE START THE CAR. THE CAR HAS NO POWER AT ALL ONCE IT STOPPED. IT HAPPENS A LOT SO RIGHT NOW WE'RE NOT USING IT DUE TO SAFETY ISSUE. A BIG SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE WE USE THIS TO TRAVEL WITH FAMILY. I BROUGHT THIS TO THE MECHANIC BUT THEY DON'T SEEM TO FIND WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT. THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC TEST BUT THEY DID NOT GET AN ERROR MESSAGE AT ALL. ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT EVEN ON.
THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE PARKED AND IGNITION TURNED OFF. FIRE APPEARED TO START IN THE ENGINE AREA. VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED AND TURNED OFF FOR APPROX 1.5 TO 2 HOURS BEFORE THE FIRE WAS REPORTED.
WE WERE AT A STOP AND WE STARTED TO GO AND TURN THE TRUCK HESITATED AND DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WE RESTARTED THE TRUCK BACK UP AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IT HESITATED WHEN WE STARTED TO GO AGAIN AND IT WAS OVER EXCELERATING AND TOOK A WHILE TO CHANGE FROM 1ST GEAR TO 2ND GEAR
MY 2008 YUKON HAS HAD AN ELECTRICAL MYSTERY FOR AWHILE NOW. WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOORS THE "CHIME" WILL BE VERY FAINT AND THEN THE NEXT TIME IT'S VERY LOUD. THE CLOCK RESETS LIKE THE BATTERY HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED AFTER SHUTTING THE CAR OFF. THE DOOR LOCKS WILL LOCK AND UNLOCK BY THEMSELVES WILL I'M DRIVING. I CAN TURN THE CAR OFF AFTER DRIVING IT AND IT WILL BE COMPLETELY DEAD. IT WONT DO ANYTHING. YOU CAN'T LOCK THE DOORS, TURN ON THE RADIO, START THE CAR OR ANYTHING. ALMOST LIKE IT DOESNT HAVE A BATTERY AT ALL. WAIT 10 MINUTES OR SO AND SLAM A FEW DOORS AND IT STARTS RIGHT UP. WE'VE REPLACED BATTERIES, ALTERNATORS, FUSES AND TAKEN IT TO MECHANICS WITH NO LUCK. AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY IT WILL WORK FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND THEN IT WILL DO IT AGAIN. THERE HAS TO BE A SHORT SOMEWHERE AND AFTER GOOGLING IT THERE ARE 1000 OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. WE HAD PROBLEMS SINCE WE PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2017 AND I'M POSITIVE THE OWNER BEFORE ME HAD THE SAME ISSUES.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (CAMILO REAL CHEVROLET IN LOS ANGELES, CA, 323-2643-050) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 250,000.

THE CAR FLASHES REDUCED ENGINE POWER, STABILITRACK OFF AND THE CAR CAN BARELY GO 30 MPH. THE ENGINE RUNS VERY ROUGH WHEN IT IS DOING THIS ALSO. MY CODE SCANNER DISPLAYS CODE 641 WHICH IS OPEN 5VOLT REFERENCE ON BANK 1. IT DOES THIS MORE WHEN THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS WARMER OR THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING STILL WHILE RUNNING. ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC CAUSING NEAR MISSES AND OTHER TIMES WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. JUST YESTERDAY IT DID IT 20 TIMES IN A FOUR MILE STRETCH. THIS CAR IS NO LONGER SAFE TO DRIVE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE VEHICLE BEING INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V383000 (AIR BAGS) AND THE DECISION ON THE PETITION WAS PENDING. THE REPAIR FOR THE WARNING SENSOR WOULD CAUSE THE BUMPER TO HAVE TO BE REMOVED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 108,000.
SOMETIMES WHEN I COME TO A STOP MY VEHICLE GOES INTO THE AUTOSTOP MODE, BUT WHEN I GO TO ACCELERATE IT DOESN'T COME OUT OF AUTOSTOP AND JERKS REALLY HARD THEN STALLS OUT. ONCE I PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND RESTART IT, IT CRANKS RIGHT UP BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON FOR ABOUT A DAY AND THEN GOES OFF ON IT'S OWN. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO GMC DEALERSHIP TWICE AND PAID OUT ABOUT $700 FOR REPAIRS THAT DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP CLAIMS TO NOT BE ABLE TO FIND ANY CODES EVEN WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. I HAVE BEEN CLOSE TO BEING HIT FROM THE BACK ON AT LEAST 3 OCCASIONS BECAUSE THE VEHICLE INITIALLY MOVES SLOWLY BEFORE JERKING AND STALLING. PLEASE HELP MYSELF AND OTHERS WITH THIS SIMILAR PROBLEM GET HELP BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE DEALERSHIP ISN'T CONCERNED WITH OUR SAFETY AS WELL AS OUR CHILDREN.
DOORS LOCKED WITH REMOTE. 2ND ROW PASSENGER DOOR BEHIND DRIVERS DOOR FAILED TO ACTUATE WITH REMOTE OR WITH DOOR LOCKS. WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH THE MANUAL LOCK ON THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE TO FREE THE DOOR. ONCE FREED, THE DOOR FAILED TO RETURN TO THE CLOSED POSITION AND REMAINED STUCK UNTIL THE KEY FOB WAS PUSHED. REPEATED THE LOCK WITH THE KEY FOB, DOOR STILL WILL NOT ACTUATE TO THE OPEN POSITION. CHILD CAN UNLOCK AS THIS BYPASSES THE CHILD LOCKS ON THAT DOOR. CHILD COULD ALSO GET TRAPPED IN THE CAR-COULD NOT BE UNLOCKED WITHOUT MANUAL AGITATION OF THE INTERNAL LOCKS. INTERNET IS FULL OF HIS SAME ISSUE ON THE SAME MODEL VEHICLE. THIS IS A SERIOUS HAZARD. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE AT SPEED (70) THE STABILITRAC LIGHT CAME ON AND REDUCED ENGINE POWER MESSAGE DISPLAYED. THE RPM'S WENT OVER 4K, THEN THE YUKON SLOWED IN TRAFFIC AND I HAD TO PULL TO THE SIDE BEFORE BEING RUN OVER. THE ACCELERATOR WAS UNRESPONSIVE AT THAT TIME. I TURNED OFF THE ENGINE, WAITED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN RESUMED DRIVING USING '3' TO ENGAGE TRANSMISSION INSTEAD OF 'D' THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ON, BUT I MADE IT TO MY DESTINATION 2 HOURS AWAY. *TR
NOVEMBER 13, I WENT OUT TO START MY 2008 YUKON AND THE LIGHTS, DOOR LOCKS, AND CD PLAYER BEGAN TO FLICKER AND THEN SHUT OFF. THE GAUGES ALSO BEGAN TO FLICKER ERRATICALLY, THEN THE CAR WOULD NOT START. LATER IN THE AFTERNOON, MY HUSBAND AND I PUSHED THE CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE AND WHEN THE YUKON WENT OVER THE LIP OF THE GARAGE INTO THE DRIVEWAY, THE BUMP CAUSED ALL THE LIGHTS, RADIO, AND BACK DLOOR LATCH TO COME ON OR BEGIN WORKING. THIS OCCURRED SEVERAL OTHER TIMES OVER SEVERAL WEEKS AND INCLUDED THE REAR DOOR NOT WORKING OR THE POWERLOCKS NOT WORKING WITH THE REMOTE. WE TOOK IT TO DRIVER'S AUTOMOTIVE IN THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS, AND HAD THEM RUN A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE VEHICLE. THE AUTO REPAIRMAN CHECKED THE BATTERY AND CABLES AND SAID NOTHING SHOWS UP IN THE DIAGNOSTIC BUT EVENTUALLY THEY DID REPLACE THE CBM. WE PAID $ 718.00 TO REPLACE THE CBM, TRUSTING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE STARTED UP FINE FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AFTER THAT BUT SINCE DECEMBER 21, THE YUKON HAS DUPLICATED THE ERRATIC LIGHT FLICKERING, RADIO AND IGNITION NOT WORKING, THE REAR DOOR NOT OPENING (USING THE CAR REMOTE AS WELL AS THE POWER BUTTON ON FRONT CONSOLE INSIDE VEHICLE). IN ADDITION, THE DOORS WON'T LOCK AND THE GAUGES FLICKER UNCONTROLLABLY AND THE VEHICLE WON'T START. WE ARE VERY CONCERNED. A DIAGNOSTIC SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG BUT WITH THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES, I AM FEARFUL OF WHAT COULD HAPPEN. *TR
2008 GMC YUKON XL - 5 DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILURES. ALL FOUR DOOR LOCKS HAVE FAILED AND NOW THE REAR PASSENGER LOCK ACTUATOR HAS FAILED FOR THE SECOND TIME. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AS YOU EITHER HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE DOOR UNLOCKED OR IF LOCKED YOU RISK NOT BEING ABLE TO GET A CHILD OUT QUICKLY IF NECESSARY. I HAVE CONTACTED GM AND THEY REFERRED THE ISSUE TO MY LOCAL REP WHO HAS DENIED COVERING THE PART, ACCORDING TO MY DEALER. MANY CASES OF THIS SAME FAILURE CAN BE FOUND ONLINE AND IN MY CASE, 5 FAILURES OF THE SAME PART. I WOULD SAY THIS INDICATES A PROBLEM. WHY WON'T GM ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AND OFFER TO FIX IT? WILL IT TAKES TRAGEDY LIKE A CHILD NOT BEING ABLE TO BE REMOVED IN AN EMERGENCY? *TR
