VEHICLE WILL JUMP FORWARD WHEN GOING INTO AUTO STOP AS IF YOU ARE SITTING AT A LIGHT BEHIND SOMEONE YOU WOULD HIT THEM, SOMETIMES GOING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN GOING INTO HYBRID MODE IT WILL STALL AND START JERKING FORWARD AND STEERING LOCKED UP WOULDN'T TURN WITCH WOULD CAUSE TO RUN INTO SOMEONE
INTERMITTENT POWER STEERING LOSS, LOW SPEEDS. THE STEERING RACK WAS RECENTLY REPLACED. I SEE ONLINE THAT THERE IS AN ELECTRIC PANEL THAT MIGHT CAUSE THIS. WILL BRING BACK TO LOCAL SHOP TOMORROW. NOT SURE HOW THAT IS TESTED VS PUMP/LINE OR THE NEW RACK DEFECTIVE
WE HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH IT STOPPING ON THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION AND WON'T WAN TO TURN ON AND IF IT DOES IT TURN RIGHT OF DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME BUT WE BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE MORE RECENTLY THE MESSAGE SAY SERVICE STABILIZED BAR POWER STEERING AND SOME OTHER ONES WE DID LOOK UP ON GOOGLE TO SEE IF MORE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ISSUES LIKE THIS THEIR BEEN SEVERAL THAT STILL TILL DATE DEALER CAN'T HELP THEM BUT IT IS VERY INSANE AND SCARY SINCE 2 TIME I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT HAS NOT HAPPEN IN HIGHWAY BUT YES DRIVING
JUST BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THE RECALL ON THE GMC SILVERADOS. I HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE ON MY YUKON DENALI. I PURCHASED A CAR IN DECEMBER OF 2016. AND I'VE HAD AT LEAST EIGHT OR MORE INCIDENTS. OF THE CAR EITHER NOT STARTING OR SHUTTING OFF FOR 3 TO 5 SECONDS AT ABOUT A 15 MILE AN HOUR TURN. I FEEL AS THOUGH MY VEHICLE COULD BE AFFECTED THE SAME WAY AS THESE ARE. I WOULD LIKE A REMEDY TO WHY MY CAR SHUTS OFF DURING A LOW-RPM TURN. WHEN THE CAR COMES BACK ON ALL GAUGE LIGHTS COME ON FOR A BRIEF SECOND. AND THE THERMOSTAT GOES UP A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE THE FAN HAD SHUT OFF FOR A MINOR SECOND.
MY STEERING POWER WAS COMPLETELY DOWN WITHOUT NO WARNING HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE THE GOOD THING IT HAPPEN WHEN I GOT AN OIL CHANGE... TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC YUKON HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO TURN. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING OVER A PERIOD OF ONE WEEK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
