Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I had several safety concerns regarding the 2024 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased and subsequently traded in after only 31 days due to multiple issues that I believe may compromise vehicle safety. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that the front inner splash guards were loose. After the dealership, Tyson’s Motors in Shorewood, IL, replaced both splash guards, I discovered that the front left splash guard had plugs that fell out, exposing critical hoses underneath. This issue raised immediate concerns about the potential for damage to these hoses and the vehicle's overall safety. In addition to the splash guard issue, I experienced further safety concerns, including screws from the inside speakers located between the front and rear seats falling off while driving, as well as a loose headlight pin. These problems not only posed a risk to my safety but also created an environment of uncertainty regarding the overall reliability of the vehicle. Due to these ongoing issues, I felt it necessary to trade in the Wrangler for an identical model, as I believed the original vehicle was possibly faulty. Unfortunately, the replacement vehicle caused me injury just two days later, which I have also reported to the NHTSA, dealership and Jeep. I believe these issues warrant serious attention and investigation to prevent potential safety hazards for other drivers, passengers, and those driving on the road.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
