The passenger side roof is leaking water. It’s leaks through the roof and through the headliner. The water leaks onto the passenger curtain airbag before it leaks onto the headliner. It’s on the pass side between the sunroof and the passenger door of the car and on the A pillar. Worried it will affect airbag or make the roof moldy. It’s hard to see in photos but easy to see in person
I have gotten an email notification about my airbags system stating it wasn’t working properly

What happened: The vehicle is a 2023 Nissan Rogue (VIN: [XXX] ). The engine failed twice: the first failure required major repairs, and the second resulted in complete engine shutdown. These issues are not related to the prior U.S. accident, which only affected the driver-side airbag. The engine and all critical systems were fully functional upon delivery and can be inspected upon request. The second failure occurred while traveling with my family in a remote desert area from Baghdad to Ramadi, putting our safety at serious risk and causing extreme fear and panic for my wife and [XXX] child. The problem recurred and was confirmed by local service centers during the first repair. There were no warning lights or prior symptoms before the sudden engine stoppage; the failure happened unexpectedly during normal use. Back passenger seatbelt warning will not display on dash if seatbelts are unbuckled while car is driving. No sounds or notice. Happens sporadically. Dangerous when kids are playing musical chairs while driver is unaware. Dangerous. Noticed first year ago dealership was unable to replicate. Happened again dealership changed the seatbelt. Now occurring again
Airbag failure 6/27/2025 auto accident Driver hit my vehicle right at the start of passenger side door. My vehicles rear went counter clockwise nearly tipping over before being hit again passenger side front Damages extensive. Zero airbags deployed Car not drivable. Place were notified report was made insurance companies. Notified car was taking to a tow lot as it was not drivable.
After an oil change at a Certified Nissan dealership, the left rear seat belt sensor was indicating on the dash board that someone was sitting in there and was strapped, so the light had a green check, but there was no one in that seat plus the seat belt was not even strapped. The next day, the front passenger seat belt also went awry. With no one in the seat, the seat belt sensor started beeping which means it believed someone was in that seat unstrapped, but again, no one was in it. I have only ownes the car for 4 months, the car is clean and there is no debris in the seat belt latch system. There is definitely something wrong with the seatbelt sensors.
I received notice late April from Nissan about this recall. I promptly scheduled an appointment to bring my vehicle in for repair. I was told parts were back ordered and would arrive early June. I have contacted the dealership (Vision Nissan of Greece, NY) and Nissan HQ to inquire and was told parts were on back order. I asked when parts would be available and was given no time estimate. I have to drive my vehicle from New York State to Texas for a move (over 2,000 miles) starting June 25 and I have serious concerns for my and my family's safety in the vehicle due to the recall. I would appreciate any assistance possible in getting this resolved. Thank you.
Began a Dollar Rental Car rental on April 15th through April 25th. Around April 25th, I attempted to extend the rental. Error message on Dollar site said "... the location requires you to return the car to the renting location or to any corporately owned location on the agree to drop off date for technical inspection." Upon searching the vin - the car was under active recall, and the recall had not been remedied. I only found out because of the online web search on the NHTSA site. It appears the recall was issued Feb 28th, 2024, and then car was rented out prior to repairs.
We were in an accident that has caused injury to the driver (fiancé) and passenger (myself). The impact was on the front driver side. No airbags deployed. No emergency braking activated or collision warning appeared. The cruise control was on, that also activates all sensors. We do not have insurance information yet, but this vehicle is most likely going to total. We have yet to receive the incident report from the police.
