The vehicle is a 2025 Ram 1500 with an active safety recall related to the trailer light connection/wiring system. The issue causes warnings indicating trailer light malfunction and affects proper trailer light operation. This is a significant safety concern because I regularly tow trailers, and improper trailer lighting creates a risk for accidents, especially at night or during braking and signaling. The recall has been confirmed by the dealer, however, the dealer has stated that parts are not available and cannot provide a timeline for repair. It has been over a month with no resolution. No repair has been performed, and the issue remains unresolved. Warning messages related to trailer connection and lighting have appeared. This directly impacts the safe operation of the vehicle and my ability to tow for work purposes. The manufacturer has not provided a timely remedy for this safety recall.

Headlights flicker off and then back on at random times while driving. I've been unable to reproduce the issue on command in any way. No warning lamps or anything by the truck. The first couple times while driving at night I thought it was my eyes because it happened when I was looking away like when turning around a neighborhood corner and checking for traffic. Now, I've noticed it happening while driving straight and looking out the windshield. It's a very brief flicker, but it's definitely the headlights shutting off and turning back on again. The issue has not been reported to the dealer yet. The truck is brand new and is experiencing other electrical blips at only 800 miles total. I will be stopping at a local dealer ASAP.
Driver's side headlight shines excessively to the left. Blinding oncoming traffic and not illuminating the forward path of travel the way the passenger headlight does. Not able to adjust the headlight and dealer is not able to do anything about it either.
My truck has an issue where the headlights do not turn on when I press the key fob while approaching the truck. This is at night only. The side mirror lights, rear cargo lights and interior lights activate however the headlights do not. This is an issue for personal safety when approaching the truck in the dark. There must be a glitch. The headlights will illuminate during the daytime when it is bright out or if the remote start is activated. The vehicle was seem by a Ram Dealership and no active recalls were present. Manufacturer Recall No. : D4B which addresses some headlight issues apparently did not effect my truck and no flash was done on the software. I feel that this is a major safety concern as I am unable to brightly see my surroundings when I approach my truck.
I have been to the dealership twice because the driver's side headlight points way to the left, it's not centered. They said there is no adjustment for bringing it to center position. It's a hazard because there is no lighting in front of the driver. There's an obvious blind spot.

The failure mileage was approximately 13,000.
I purchased a brand-new 2025 RAM 1500 Laramie, and from day one it has been a nightmare. Only TWO days after delivery, the truck completely died and had to be towed back to the dealership. Since then, it has been in for repairs FOUR separate times. The last time was [XXX], when it was towed again — and here we are, almost TWO MONTHS later, with my truck still sitting at RAM Greenway, untouched, no repairs, no updates, no solution. Nobody is working on it, and now they have the audacity to try to charge me for the rental car while they hold my truck hostage. Meanwhile, I’m still paying the monthly payment for a brand-new vehicle I can’t even drive. RAM Customer Care is absolutely useless — they just send copy-paste updates saying “the dealer is working on the vehicle” when clearly NOTHING is being done. Zero accountability, zero urgency, zero customer service. This situation has caused me extreme stress and financial loss. I depend on a reliable vehicle for my family and my daily life, and RAM has failed on every level. Do NOT buy a RAM vehicle. Do NOT do business with RAM Greenway in Orlando. They will take your money, leave you without a working vehicle, and refuse to take responsibility. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
when the vehicle is put in reverse when it is dark outside the screen goes to full bright blinding the driver no matter what the brightness settings are. This makes it almost impossible to see when backing up. This more than negates any saferty gains made by having the backup camera in the first place. I have contacted ram concerning this issue with no response. There are multiple threads on the internet going back years complaining about this issue with no fix in sight.
Same recall on 2024 grand cherokee. When auto lights are on brights will not turn on with the wheel lever.
