Brakes not working. ABS has become defective. Manufacturer not owning repairs and vehicle is not serviceable. Nearly collided with pedestrian but emergency brake prevented accident. Was able to get vehicle home, but unusable.
The warning lights keep blocking up lane assist light. Car won't lock or turn off and go to sleep. Infotainment screen goes black and all the time. Car goes to park when I lean forward when at drive. 12 volt battery keeps goes low. Brake rattling noise coming from brake paddle. Backup camera don't work.drive motor malfunction. The left and right rear seatbelts do not retract or keep tension on passengers and are completely useless.
The rear seat belts will create slack and then will not retract. I have children in the backseat whi may not be able to manually pull the seat belt several times until the spring retracts the belt. This is a safety issue that has been brought to Fiskers attention, but no response.
Car keeps putting in to park mode when driving. When I lean my back forward car switch drive mode back to park. I believe the seats sensor is not working.
I was merging on to Interstate 5 when the vehicle in front stopped very hard to avoid hitting construction equipment that had likely fallen off a truck. I was not able to stop the car in time as the brakes seemed to not be effective. The collision warning braking system did not activate. The airbags did not activate which surprised the Highway Patrol and collision center personnel.
I received my vehicle on 10/14. At that time, I noticed a warning light on the dashboard that I identified in the owner’s manual as “airbag fault.” I emailed Fisker support about this problem on 10/30. After receiving no response from Fisker, I finally called them today and was told that my issue had been “escalated” on 10/30 and that the representative would contact another department after I hung up to have them follow up with me within a week.
