I had the vehicle updated to version 2.3.3 by a technician because my car would not update OTA. I thought this update would resolve the ADAS problems as well as the breaking problems. However, on three separate occasions my vehicle has come to an abrupt stop with automatic breaking when approaching a redlight / intersection with no other vehicles in front of me. This occurred while manually applying the break and then the car just took over. There were no forward collision warnings, rather the car was automatically forced to shuttering stop. An alert appears that the brake system has malfunctioned followed by both LED screens turning off and on. The break malfunction error appears several times. Eventually, the screens will restart and then when you try to put the car into gear a gear shift error appears and the car will not go into gear leaving me stranded in traffic. On one occasion these errors appeared when the car started up in a parking lot. These events are unpredictable and not tied to any visible obstacle. The vehicle cannot reliably receive over-the-air software updates due to persistent connectivity failure as I have tried updated to SW Version 2.5. As a result, both the past federally mandated safety recall remedies could not be delivered not any future updates. I have personally paid out of pocket for recall-related repairs and have not been reimbursed. I have not been contacted regarding replacement of recalled exterior door handles. Break and/or shift errors have occurred on May 28, 2025, Sept 3, 2025, Dec 3, 2055, Jan 9, 15, and 21 2026.

In May of 2025 we received this email. We have written them 10 times with recall info and also in need of service. We have never received a response. We would love to get the car looked at and fixed, but no one has been able to help us. Our first 6 months with the vehicle, the key Fob stopped working multiple times and I had to get someone to pick up my kids, as I was stranded. As for the brakes, they shoot us forward every now and again when pressed. It is very scary. Lack of Access, Inability to Use Vehicle, Out of Pocket I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000 and the OTA (Over-the-Air) update process for my vehicle. The current OTA process left me needing to replace my 12-V and forced me to pay out of pocket to get a manual update installed, which is financially burdensome. In addition, I also had to pay out of pocket to replace a recalled water pump. This has left many of us in a state of uncertainty regarding the functionality of our vehicles and forced to pay out of pocket for a mandatory free recall.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING ISNT WORKING. I NEED A SOFTWARE UPDATE.

Unexpectedly was updated from software version 2.1 to 2.2.1 that has since caused my braking to become harder to make complete stops and increased the brakes being stuck during the stopping process. It has also brought on issues with my regen brake's ability and my range has decreased dramatically. Additionally, I now have multiple status error signs on my front display due to front sensor not detecting and hill mode being activated.
I need software recalled done
I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Specifically, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in my vehicle, which has become increasingly distracting and, frankly, dangerous due to an incomplete or failed 2.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update is a huge concern.
I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Incomplete OTA install software 2.0 to 2.2 2/3. Should be 2.2 3/3
Fisker entered Chapter 7Bankrupty. As part of the court order certain recall work was to be completed and funding was given to do this to a company. I have to date only received partial software updates and not the full requirement of the recall to Software 2.2 that was ordered by the court. I also had to pay out of pocket for a technician to replace by 12V battery because of software issues after partial installation. I have lost mileage distance since the new partial software as well. I paid out of pocket $247 for the required water pump recall and door handle inspections. Plus fees for a mobile technician. This is above the amount Liquidators Trustee is planning to pay of $175 (if they ever do). This car is a safety risk and the Trustee is not making a good faith effort to fix the required recalls. I have not been contacted even one time with a status. The NHTSA needs to force the trustee and bankruptcy judge to intervene.
This is an ongoing problem since November 2023 - software was going to fix the problem but updates have stop coming and the problem are still an issue. I had 4 onsite service calls with no issue fixed. This is the 2nd filing for the same issues (6.21.24 first filing) NO RECALLS have been repaired. I also filed in 2024, under the lemon law in CA, with no response. ABS red warning light comes on, navigation no longer works, no service provided in my area and the car, rebooting the main screens 6-10 per week and many of the feature promised were never installed. How do I get this car repaired and recalls fixed?
I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. My vehicle's braking system, particularly as it relates to its performance over rough terrain, has not yet been addressed. I have experienced significant brake slippage and a loss of function, which poses a serious safety risk. As a responsible vehicle owner, I trust that my car should provide a reliable and safe driving experience, especially when navigating challenging conditions. The frequency of reports from fellow owners about their vehicles becoming undrivable after updates—between 2% and 5%—is alarming and prevents me from attempting the recall process. Knowing that the update process can leave a car unusable for up to 48 hours, and that partial updates might require even more time, adds to my frustration. The statistics shared indicate that only a mere 10% of the fleet has successfully received updates after weeks of attempts, which further highlights the inadequacy of the OTA process. Additionally, I am troubled by the limited availability of service personnel across the country. With only around 20 technicians available nationwide and just a handful traveling to address urgent issues, it is clear that many customers, including myself, may find ourselves in perilous situations without timely support. I cannot afford to wait months for a resolution while I am forced to pay out of pocket for alternative solutions to ensure my vehicle is safe to drive. This situation is unacceptable, and I urge you to take immediate action to address these critical issues. I look forward to a prompt response. Also, I do not understand why my VIN does not register as having unaddressed recalls. I do not have access to any of the technicians on Ohio for the recalls related to parts and have not received the 2.2 update which is supposed to fix the software issues. Can you please correct this?
Brake pedal rattling occasionally, lane departure warning light constantly on, multiple warning signs pop up (charger door open, driver monitoring system, etc.). OTA update is not done. main screen goes dark while driving
I have deep concerns over ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign number 4V623000. Specifically, the loss of braking when driving over a rough or bumpy surface. The vehicle will leap forward causing me to slam on the brakes avoiding many close calls. There is a OTA update that is suppose to address this issue but I have not been able to receive these updates. As a responsible driver, I value the safety of not only myself but also those around me, and this situation and others we constantly hear about make me question the process of the recall. Every week, a number of vehicles are reported as undrivable post-OTA updates, with statistics indicating that approximately 2%-5% of owners experience this issue. With 48-hour update windows, my vehicle becomes unusable for an extended period, which is highly inconvenient and concerning. Moreover, I've noted that partial updates are expected, potentially extending this downtime by another 48 hours. I have had a partial update that has left my vehicle in worse shape than before, what could happen if the process is tried again? This inconsistent performance is not only frustrating, but also poses a serious inconvenience to scheduling and executing such a process. Furthermore, the fact that there are only approximately 20 service personnel available nationwide, with a mere five traveling to assist customers whose cars are rendered undrivable, is simply unacceptable. This lack of support exacerbates an already troubling situation. Given these circumstances, I urge you to address these
I received a notification for a recall for the water pump many months ago. To this day, the water pump has not been replaced. No one has reached out to me to set up the recall repair. I have tried to find local car repair shops, but they won't do it as it is part of a national recall. Also, the ADAS system is constantly malfunctioning, giving errors like collision warning not working, lane assist not working, blind spot monitoring not working. This has been a problem since I received the car. Adaptive cruise control has never worked. The braking system was supposed to be fixed with the 2.2 software update. It seemed to work for a few weeks, now the original problem is back where the braking regeneration turns off suddenly causing the car to lose control. This happens at random.
Pump recall (Recall No 24V865) work was done. I paid $340.00 out of pocket for labor to install the [ump. Subsequently, through Fisker Owners Association, I learned that the liquidating trustee decided that the maximum reimbursement is $175.00. Yet, there is no mechanism for filing for and obtaining the refund promised. The fix for the sudden jerking forward of the car with it hits a bump is supposed to be fixed with 2.2 software update. As of the time of filing of this complaint, I have heard nothing from the liquidating trustee as to when this will be installed to my vehicle. I have replaced my old batter with a new one in anticipation of the update.
The major issue was related to a braking problem on rough terrain that made the vehicle lunge forward during braking. This was fixed with and OS update, however I was forced to pay out of pocket for the OS 2.2 update that was required by NHTSA and have not been reimbursed. Furthermore, the OS version still states OS 2.1 because only the Fisker OTA team can make that adjustment. According to the Liquidating Trustee’s Designee plans for recall work, a reimbursement of $225 should be available to me.
