Front Passenger consistently has standing water, soaking carpet and has caused deep molding needing to replace carpeting and crash pad. Vehicle issue confirmed by Ford Dealership; diagnostic test did not pick up on it. Lead to manufacturing installation concerns. Dealership has inspected. Reported the issue and proceedings at Ford Dealership with Ford Company (corporate) Customer Service. Despite, manufacturing issue, company is requesting customer (me) pay to solve issue. No other messages or notifications appearing in Ford app or on in-car lamps/messaging. The standing water has been an issue at least 5-6 times.
The doors on my vehicle are buckling. There are ripples in the sheet metal on all four doors where the metal meets the window glass. It appears to be some type of structural issue. Im worried if these doors are buckling under normal wear and tear im concerned if they are structurally sound if the vehicle were involved in a accident? Is the cause of this issue metal fatigue? I am not an engineer but there is obviously an issue with these doors that may be some type of safety issue. I brought this to the attention of Ford and they acknowledged the issue. They took photos of the issue but have not come up with a solution. While at the dealership having my vehicle inspected I observed several other Ford Broncos with the same issue. I provided photos of the issue but I must admit it is difficult to see.
Failed Window Assembly in Tail Gate resulting in broken tail gate window. Driving on A1A, Melbourne Beach FL, 630 am September 20th, 2022 45 mph heard very loud boom and saw that the high pressure cylinders that lift the back window blew apart and shattered the tail gate window obstructing my vision out of the rear window. The spontaneous combustions of the window assembly blew up and almost made me loose control of the vehicle. Nothing hit the window from inside or outside of the car. This car has been in maintenance on three other occasions to have the electrically operated systems repaired. I believe this is a manufacture defect. There is no explanation how this serious incident occurred and I fear for my safety driving this vehicle. I have filed a BBB Auto Claim, case number [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
I have a brake recall related to a safety defect. The car does not stop quick enough at highways speeds, however ford has not offered a remedy in a timely manner. I have been to 4 different Ford dealerships with no success. All four have informed me it would take a week to get the part, to later change the answer and say its unavailable on backorder. I can't get my brakes repaired. Additionally, the back door does not lock under any circumstances. The car is unsafe and unsecure from the inside and out.
