I had a safety recall V06 performed on my 2018 truck. Three local shops refused to do an alignment saying they can not perform the alignment without having a steering wheel misaligned. I find steering wheel misalignment to be a safety issue. In critical situations you don't have a reference where your wheels are straight. I it hard to comprehend that welding an adjustable part on steering would be an approved permanent remedy by NTHSA. These welds are rusting and prompt to crack.
My HCU is out and constantly dinging at me for no traction control and ABS. I know this is recalled and I have been waiting over a year and FCA still doesn't appear to have a remedy for this.
I get a message that states Service air ride suspension immediately. After reading several ram forms it seems this is a big problem with these trucks. My airbags are completely inflated. I have not taken to the dealer because most of the forms I read says ram is aware of the problem but hasn't issued a recall.

The contact's family owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at 48-55 MPH with the vehicle hitched to a tow trailer transporting a vehicle, the rear driver's side wheel inadvertently detached, rolled away, and crashed into the front end of a vehicle that was driving on the opposite direction. The contact engaged the trailer brakes and the vehicle brake pedal to stop his vehicle. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. There were no injuries sustained. The contact stated as he was inspecting the rear driver's side wheel, he noticed that the wheel studs were missing. A police report was filed. The vehicle remained at the scene. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V398000 (WHEELS). The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000. Consumer is providing a link to photos of the incident and photos taken after the incident of the exact studs that failed. In the photos the day of the incident, a mark on the asphalt can be seen where the bare rotor slid to a halt on the side of the road. The other pictures were taken after the ram had been towed and was sitting in a grass field for ~12 days. Consumer saved all the failed studs from the vehicle. Consumer stated will be replacing the rest of the studs from the vehicle and will be saving them to along with a record of which wheel they came from. Consumer has managed to recover the wheel itself, which does not have oblong hole damage.
I was on vacation with my family and pulled over to the side of the road to get something from the back and the service abs electronic light came up. it was intermittently coming on and off. it really dampened our trip because i have been stranded with electrical issues in this truck before. my family was scared the brakes were going to fail and we reduced our trips into the mountain areas we had planned. being not fully trusting of this very expensive vehicle i thought would take me anywhere i need to go i tried to sell it back to the dealer, i signed all the sale paperwork feeling like today was the best deal and they wouldnt give me the same deal the next day. only to be told i needed to pick the truck back up because of the brake system hydraulic control and brake system module being not availiable. so long story short. they said i am stuck with this truck and this is not a recall issue. i cant find the parts, this is just out of warranty period, i do not feel safe driving this vehicle. i am actively searching and do see that probably thousands of owners have the same issues, hopefully i can get the updated part and resolve this issue.
