The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and a case was opened; however, no further assistance was provided. The tires were replacement tires purchased at Walmart. The contact had not experienced a failure.
SPARE TIRE WILL NOT CRANK ALL THE WAY UP AND SHOW THE YELLOW DOT PER INSTRUCTIONS. THE CRANK STARTS TO SLIP THE LAST 1" . WITHOUT TIRE ON THE SPARE TIRE CABLE THE YELLOW DOT DOES APPEAR AND THE CRANK COMES TO A DEAD STOP. THIS VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON LEVEL GROUND AND SEVERAL ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO NO AVAIL.
