Vehicle: 2017 RAM 2500 6.7L Cummins purchased new in March 2018 with 300 miles on it from Phoenix, Arizona RAM dealership. Incident Date: [XXX]: The frame broke on both sides just behind the crew cab while traveling on a road at 5 mph. No rust present, no truck bed load. RAM dealership in Kingman, Arizona states on [XXX], through a diagnostic examination of this vehicle on behalf of my insurance company and me, they do not know why the frame broke. USAA Insurance Claim: Filed on [XXX] and denied coverage on [XXX]. Safety issue: 15 minutes earlier I had been traveling on the highway at 70 mph. The insurance adjuster made a statement that if the frame had broken while I was on the highway traveling at 70 mph, I would have died.
